Hi,
If the form response contains an email address, it will become the Reply-To address of the email, so you simply need to hit the Reply button to respond. An autoresponder should pick up the reply-to address too.

The FormSmarts account you’ve just updated has not been used recently, so the online form on your site must belong to another account.

Hi – I am trying to change the email account that receives information submitted through our form. I added the email address to Settings/Email Accounts and changed it under the Form Subscribers section of the Edit panel, but the responses are still going to the old email address that is actually not listed anywhere in My Account. I don’t see an email address in the code that I pasted into my website, so I’m not sure how to change it. Can you help? Thanks!

I’ve just checked, an email was successfully delivered to your Yahoo account today. Make sure it didn’t end up in your junk mail box (if it did, make sure you mark it as not spam and add formsmarts-noreply@syronex.com to your address book). If you need more assistance, please post a message on the forum.

My form will not send to my yahoo account. It’s the only one on there but it won’t send. Help!

Nick,
Now that you have added more email addresses to your account, you need to subscribe them to your form.
See the “Changing the Recipients of a Form” section of this page for instructions.

Most users have several forms, so we can’t decide for you which recipients should be subscribed to which forms.

Hi – I have built a great form thanks to my FormSmarts Pro account – but now I am having issues getting my two verified email recipients to actually receive the form data….my administrator email login receives data quickly but not so the other recipients…

The two email recipients have clicked their link and are marked as verified but are not marked as active.

When will this happen or do i need to do other settings to activate their receiving the data ?

In an early version of FormSmarts we allowed users to choose on the confirmation page whether they wanted to get an email confirmation. Most users did not want to get the email. For that reason, and because of the high risk of abuse, we removed that feature. FormSmarts uses a 3-step submission process letting users review information and then confirm the submission. The confirmation page shows a customizable confirmation message (in the Pro version) and a reference number, effectively providing the same information an auto-responder would.

To send a copy of the form data to a third party, add their email address to your account, then subscribe that email address to your form as described in “Changing the Recipients of a Form” above.

We need an automatic receipt to go back to the user after filling out the form. Plus a receipt to a third party -(their church) Is this possible for your software to add to this “carbon copy?”

Hi,
I recently added the email address of a customer to my FormSmarts account, but she never got the verification email from FormSmarts. After trying several times, I found out that my customer’s organization block all mails from senders not in their “white list”. My advise if you’re having the same issue, ask the other person to add “formsmarts-noreply @ syronex.com” to their list of allowed senders.
