PLEASE NOTE: The Cat Cab is the van that picks up cats from the set location in different towns and then brings them back at the end of the day. If you are dropping your cat at the clinic in Conway this fee is waived.

Pre-Surgical Instructions

Feeding Instructions:
Please do not feed your cat after midnight the night before surgery.
Your cat can have small amounts of water.
Kittens under 6 months can have a half teaspoon of food the morning of surgery.

Check In:
Check in time is determined by CAT CAB location or 8:00-8:30 am for CONWAY drop off. We will let you know during your confirmation call and email the check-in time for your location.

Transport Instructions:
Please bring your cat in a clean and secured crate with a clean blanket/towel inside. We highly encourage hard crates but if you have a soft sided crate please secure the zippers so your cat cannot move them. The goal is security and safety.

Pick-Up Information:
Conway Drop-offs/Pick-ups or Trailer Clinics - Once surgery is complete and your cat has cleared recovery, we will give you a call with pickup time.
Cat Cab - If your cat is going how in the Cat Cab we will call you once all the cats have been cleared from recovery. You will receive a pick-up time during that call. Please be on time to the pickup and inform the person making the call if anyone but the owner is picking up the cat.

We are able to accept cash, credit card, or debit card as payment for services. We are not able to accept checks. Payment is collected at check-in time.

Spay/Neuter Package Includes: a basic exam by vet, spay/neuter surgery and meds, rabies vaccination (if needed), capstar flea pill, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.

Additional Surgery Fees: May be incurred for specialized situations such as Pregnancy $20, Cryptorchid $20, Abdominal Cryptorchid $35.

Weather Policy:
Weather is always a factor we watch very closely with clients, pets, and staff being out on the road. If we need to have a late-start or postpone the clinic we will reach out to you by phone the evening before your clinic. We ask that if you are concerned about the weather that you contact the clinic.

A Note From the Team

Thank you for signing up with to get your cat spayed or neutered with Rozzie May Animal Alliance. Applications are processed once a week. You can expect a phone call from a RMAA staff member or volunteer within 7 business days to confirm your application has been received and your cat's appointment is all set up. Additionally, if we are concerned about any portion of your application we will reach out to you by phone. Please be patient with us we are a very small team and do our very best to contact everyone.

Due to a rash of no shows we have added three statements to the bottom of this application. Please understand that as the need for spay/neuter grows many clinics have waiting lists and by not showing up to your scheduled appointment it prevents us from helping another pet family. We understand things come up.

Prepayment Policy - Effective Oct.1st

Effective October 1, 2019, all appointments made for either spay or neuter services will require to be prepaid.
The Rozzie May Animal Alliance clinic has limited clinics and space available for servicing dogs and cats. With the high incidence of late cancellations and no shows, we have reluctantly had to institute a prepayment policy. Hopefully, this will positively impact our ability to provide these services to those in need.

Rozzie May Animal Alliance mission is to provide low-cost spay and neuter services for cats and dogs. To support this mission RMAA requires fully booked surgical clinics and active and profitable fund-raising events. If the scheduled clinics are not full or close to full, the RMAA mission will have a severe impact. The surgical clinics have, unfortunately, been experiencing a rising issue with late cancellations and no shows. The goal is to influence this no-show rate immediately before a change in our operation is required.
Prepayment will be required for all appointments that are scheduled starting October 1, 2019.

- If a client needs to cancel and it is at least 48 hours prior to the clinic then all but $5 will be reimbursed or the client can reschedule at no additional cost. The $5.00 cost withheld covers handling fees.
- If a client cancels less than 48 hours before the clinic, or is a no show, they will be offered the option of rescheduling at no additional cost. If the client chooses not to reschedule, they will lose their prepayment in full. If the client does choose to reschedule and on the second appointment cancels (at any time) or is a no show, they would lose their prepayment in full.
- We understand that there may be unique situations in which prepayment is not an option for a client. Any unique circumstance can be discussed with the Clinic personnel or Operations team on an individual basis.
- Those clients whose prepayment has been waived are required to confirm within 48 hours of the scheduled surgery date. If the client does not confirm the appointment 48 hours prior to the time of the appointment, the client loses their surgical slot on the schedule and the slot will be filled with another.
- For those clients who had not prepaid and had missed their appointment, any future registrations will have to be prepaid with either a charge card or cash.
We are hoping that this change is a minor inconvenience and concern but, more important, we ae hoping it will promote RMAA having full clinics thus continuing to allow low-cost spaying and neutering services.
