Open to any and all pitchers & catchers in 7th-12th grades (fall 2019 grades)

This training session will be held on July 15th and/or July 16th at:
Grand View University Wellness Center & Softball Field

More college coaches and current or former BreakThrew Fastpitch college pitchers may be added to the staff!

Each pitcher/catcher attending will receive:
1. 6 to 12-hours of pitching/catching instruction (physical & mental)
2. T-shirt
3. Camp Notebook

We will cover:
1. Mechanics
2. Speed/power development
3. Controlling the ball/targets
4. Change-ups and off-speed pitches
5. Movement pitches
6. Throwing, Blocking, Receiving, Framing
7. Competitive practice drills/games
8. Competitive Mindsets
9. Establishing Routines
10. Competing with confidence
11. Dealing with adversity
12. Q&A session about college softball & the NPF

Schedule of Events

Monday, July 15th
8:45-9:00am - Registration at Grand View University Wellness Center
9:00-11:15am - Skill Development Sessions (mechanics, power, targets, off-speed, movement, Rapsodo sessions, throwing, receiving, blocking, framing)
11:15-12noon - Mentality Classroom session
12:00-1:00pm - Lunch on your own
1:00-3:15pm - Competitive Development Sessions (competitive drills/games, sequencing pitches, setting up hitters, live pitching/hitting)
3:15-4:00pm - Mentality Classroom session
4:00pm - End of Day 1

Tuesday, July 16th
8:00-10:15am - Skill Development Sessions (mechanics, power, targets, off-speed, movement, Rapsodo sessions, throwing, receiving, blocking, framing)
10:15-11:00am - Mentality Classroom session
11:00-12:00noon - Lunch on your own
12:00-2:15pm - Competitive Development Sessions (competitive drills/games, sequencing pitches, setting up hitters, live pitching/hitting)
2:15-3:00pm - Mentality Classroom session
3:00pm - End of Day 2

Each day will include different skill development drills, competitive development games, and mentality sessions. Pitchers/Catchers wanting the FULL camp experience should plan to attend both days. Pitchers/Catchers CAN attend one day only if scheduling conflicts prevent attending both days. Again, this event is open to any and all girls in 7th-12th grades as of the fall of 2019.

Payment

Athlete Information

No refunds will be given once payment is made/confirmed in camp. If something causes you to be unable to attend, you will be given a credit to use towards another training opportunity with BreakThrew Fastpitch.

An email with specific details on what to bring, directions to the training location, check-in time and other relevant information will be sent 7-10 days prior to the session you are registered to attend.
