Frequently Asked Questions

Step 1 of 2: Submit
Q: Can you help me with reactivity, leash pulling, or jumping?

A: Yes, yes, and yes.

Q: Can I get more in-person help after the initial session?

A: We offer additional one-hour follow-up sessions for $40 each, held on weeknights in Lawrenceville. Depending on your dog’s needs, these sessions may be private or in a small group—this will be determined by the trainer, but the price remains the same either way. We strongly recommend at least one follow-up session for every dog as it often helps reinforce progress and fine-tune results.

Q: Are you a purely positive dog trainer?

A: No, we adopt a balanced approach rooted in rewards. Our training method combines both rewards and gentle pressure to shape a dog's behavior. We believe that instilling a sense of obligation, not just motivation, yields a more refined canine companion.

Q: Can I bring others to the training session?

A: Absolutely. Just make sure any children present are calm and not disruptive to the session.

Q: Do you offer slots outside listed openings?

A: New time slots are posted every Friday at 10:00am. Check then for additional availability.

Q: Where do we meet and park?

A: Your trainer will text you the meeting location and provide free parking instructions (one block away).

Q: Do you train puppies?

A: We start working with puppies at 4 months of age and up.
Q: What if it rains during my session?

A: If you prefer to avoid training in the rain, you're welcome to reschedule. At least 4 hours of notice is required.

Q: Are there payment options besides Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay?

A: Not at the moment - those are our only accepted payment methods.
