Thank you for taking the steps to file the Interim or Final Report for your Club's RYLA Scholarships District Grant Project! District Grant Reports must be submitted by May 1, 2025. A separate report is required for each of your Club's District Grant Projects. PROJECT NAME: Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) Scholarships

Briefly describe the project. What was accomplished? Who were the beneficiaries?

Grant was used to fund early expenses for the 2025 RYLA Camp to be held July 28 – August 1, 2025 at Redwood Glen Camp & Conference Center. The Camp features learning situations that aid students in developing self-knowledge and esteem, sound values, teamwork, and commitments to Service Above Self leadership. RYLA participants are from high schools in Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties.
What did the Rotarians do? Provide at least (2) examples of active participation.

A 16-member, District-wide Rotary Planning Team plans, manages, and leads all aspects of RYLA. Campers are divided into small teams of 10-12, and each team has two adult facilitators. There are 34 Rotarian facilitators.
What are the expected long-term community impacts of the project?

With the goal of creating “Service Above Self” leaders, the ultimate long-term impact hoped for is that we are educating youth to be more civic-minded and engaged, and have the skills to assume leadership roles in their communities and civil-society.
